I've been bad about updating, and shall continue to be so this week. Tonight I start the extra hour of rehearsals, which shall continue for 3 weeks. Tomorrow night I'm going out to a fancy-shmancy dinner for the Asia Society--my boss is sending me in his stead. Wednesday night I have the voice lesson, and Thursday night I shall attend Die Walkure sans escort. Friday night shall undoubtedly see me drooling on my couch.
In addition to all this I just started taking piano lessons. I'm not exactly sure how this is going to fit into my schedule and budget, but there we go. If I want to go to grad school for music, I think I need a more serious mastery of the piano than what I now possess. I should at least be able to play accompaniment, so that should I someday teach voice or direct a choir I can not embarass myself.
That's all for now kids. Maybe later I'll have some scintillating or uproarious news for you, but not right now. My contact lenses are broken and the less time I spend staring at a computer the much much better for all concerned.
